Hoodwink vs Wraith King

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Wraith King is a total waste of a full combo for Hoodwink. Her game plan relies on using Bushwhack and Acorn Shot from the trees to delete a target before they can react. Wraith King, however, doesn't die. He stands back up thanks to Reincarnation, and now Hoodwink has spent all her spells for nothing and is out of position. Even worse, his skeletons can follow her into the trees, giving vision and making it impossible for her to set up another ambush or escape safely.

Across the game, this forces Hoodwink to play around Wraith King instead of engaging him. In teamfights, she has to ignore the primary frontliner, which is often the biggest problem for her team. While she tries to find a squishy support to kill, Wraith King is free to walk at her and her allies with his own stun. Hoodwink's goal becomes avoiding him at all costs, while his goal is to simply walk forward. It puts the entire burden of killing the king twice onto Hoodwink's teammates.
