Hoodwink vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to jump on Hoodwink and blow her up often feels like it should work for Tiny, but it rarely does. Hoodwink has exactly the right tools to kite a slow, melee hero. She can create a tree with Acorn Shot and immediately land a Bushwhack to stop his initiation. Even if Tiny does manage to close the distance after his combo, her active Scurry makes her incredibly difficult to target with follow-up attacks. Meanwhile, Tiny’s large size and low mobility make him a very easy target for Hoodwink to line up all her spells on from a safe distance, including Sharpshooter.

This matchup turns the game into a constant fight over terrain. Hoodwink always wants to play around the treeline to keep her Scurry speed active and have Bushwhack available. Tiny's main counterplay is to use Tree Grab to clear out the forests, creating open ground where he can blink for a clean kill. Hoodwink usually has the upper hand in this mini-game, since she can disengage so easily or create her own setup with Acorn Shot. This forces Tiny to play reactively, giving Hoodwink a steady edge as the game progresses.
