Hoodwink vs Treant Protector

How this matchup plays

Playing around the treeline is central for both of these heroes, which leads to a stalemate. Hoodwink needs trees for Scurry's evasion and to land Bushwhack, while Treant Protector needs them for invisibility with Nature's Guise. The key interaction is Hoodwink's Acorn Shot, which plants a new tree. While she can use this to set up her own stuns, that same tree gives Treant another spot to hide or move through the map unseen. This means Hoodwink can’t force Treant out of his element without also giving him more places to operate from.

This dynamic plays out all game. Hoodwink wants to stay near trees to maximize her effectiveness, but doing so makes her a predictable target for Overgrowth. Treant Protector can keep his allies alive through her initial burst with Living Armor, buying time for a counter-attack.
