Hoodwink vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Getting swarmed by zombies makes it hard for Hoodwink to play her usual kiting game. Tombstone floods the area with bodies that block movement and provide vision, making it difficult to escape with Scurry or land a clean Bushwhack through the trees. Each zombie hit slows, preventing her from creating the distance she needs to survive. On top of that, Undying’s constant Decay spam steals strength, making the already-squishy Hoodwink even more fragile while bulking him up against her burst damage from Acorn Shot and Sharpshooter.

This matchup often comes down to a single question: can Hoodwink kill the Tombstone? With Acorn Shot, she has the range and physical damage to take it down quickly from a safe position, which can neutralize a huge part of Undying’s teamfight contribution. If she’s allowed to do this, the fight feels much more even. But if Undying’s team can pressure her or protect the Tombstone, the overwhelming number of zombies and the constant strength drain will eventually wear Hoodwink down.
