Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Silencer wins the Jakiro vs Silencer matchup: Silencer beats Jakiro in 52.27% of 38,970 ranked matches.
Trying to land a perfect Ice Path against Silencer is a nightmare. Jakiro's spells all have long cast animations, which gives Silencer a huge window to react. A single Last Word can interrupt the setup, leaving Jakiro out of position and unable to complete his combo. Even if he gets a spell off, Arcane Curse drains his resources for trying to follow up. It feels like you are punished for playing your hero, as every one of your deliberate, telegraphed actions can be immediately turned against you.
This dynamic starts in the lane and gets worse. Later on, a single Global Silence during a teamfight can completely negate Jakiro’s impact, preventing the Macropyre or Ice Path that your team is relying on. This forces Jakiro into a tough spot, often needing a Black King Bar much earlier than preferred, which delays his other core items. Silencer, meanwhile, can often focus Jakiro down with impunity, knowing the two-headed dragon can't effectively chain spells to fight back.
