Jakiro vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Lining up a perfect Ice Path feels great until Snapfire is in the game. Her Firesnap Cookie is a direct answer to everything Jakiro wants to do: lock down an area and apply damage over time. An ally caught in the stun or being burned down by Macropyre can be instantly repositioned to safety, completely negating Jakiro’s setup. Even worse, Snapfire can use the same ability to jump on a slow-casting Jakiro and interrupt him before his spells can even land. He simply can't create the static, burning battlefield he needs to be effective.

This problem continues all game. During the laning phase, Snapfire can use her mobility to create aggressive plays that Jakiro struggles to escape. In larger teamfights, Jakiro is forced to hold his ultimate, waiting for Snapfire to use her save first, which often means the fight is already lost. Snapfire, on the other hand, can sit far back, peppering the fight with Mortimer Kisses and keeping her core safe from Jakiro's best attempts at control. Jakiro either has to target her first or accept his spells will have little impact.
