Jakiro vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Getting jumped by Tiny is often a death sentence for a slow hero, but Jakiro has the tools to make it complicated. The moment Tiny commits for an Avalanche, he can find himself trapped by an Ice Path and slowed to a crawl by Dual Breath, allowing Jakiro's team to turn on him. On the other hand, a successful Toss combo still deletes Jakiro before he can react. Tiny can also use Toss to simply throw Jakiro out of his own Macropyre or into a bad position, completely disrupting the dragon's carefully placed zones of control.

This whole matchup becomes a battle of initiation versus counter-initiation. Tiny wants to play fast, seeking out a vulnerable Jakiro before a fight properly begins. Jakiro wants to slow the game down, stay grouped, and use Liquid Fire and his other spells to create areas that Tiny cannot safely enter. If Tiny can't get a clean jump, his impact is blunted by constant slows and stuns. If Jakiro gets caught out of position, his team loses its best area denial. It's a standoff where neither hero can easily impose his game plan on the other.
