Keeper of the Light vs Pangolier

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a full Swashbuckle combo often ends in frustration against a Keeper of the Light. Pangolier relies on connecting with those physical attacks to do his job, but a single cast of Blinding Light can ruin his entire burst with its miss chance. The spell's knockback adds another layer of disruption, shoving Pangolier out of position and interrupting his rhythm. Even a good Rolling Thunder initiation can be complicated by Keeper of the Light's ability to reposition allies or control the area Pango wants to fight in.

Throughout the game, Pangolier is forced to play around this one spell. He either has to wait for Blinding Light to be used on a different target or find a way to get on top of the Keeper of the Light before he can react. This often means prioritizing a Black King Bar to ignore the miss debuff entirely. For his part, KotL wants to stay far back, using his range to poke and saving his defensive tools for when Pangolier finally commits. The matchup is a constant positioning battle where a moment's mistake from either hero can be decisive.
