Keeper of the Light vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to jump onto Keeper of the Light seems like a good plan, but it rarely works out for Tiny. The core problem is Blinding Light. It creates distance, interrupting Tiny's combo and forcing him to reposition. The miss chance it applies is devastating for a hero who relies on landing a few big physical hits. Keeper of the Light can also charge Illuminate from a safe distance, forcing Tiny to constantly move or take heavy damage. Essentially, KotL's entire toolkit is designed to punish slow, melee heroes who need to be on top of their target to be effective, and Tiny fits that description perfectly.

This dynamic gets worse for Tiny as the game progresses. During the laning stage, he struggles against the constant wave-clearing and harassment from a safe distance. In mid-game teamfights, a good Blink initiation can be ruined by a single defensive pushback from KotL. Tiny is forced to rely on catching Keeper of the Light completely out of position, often with a smoke, because a frontal assault is doomed to fail. KotL, on the other hand, can play far back, using his team as a buffer while controlling the fight's positioning and chipping away at the enemy.
