Keeper of the Light vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Trying to kill anyone while under Blinding Light is tough, but it's especially hard for Weaver. A huge part of his damage comes from consistent right-clicks with Geminate Attack, and the miss chance from that spell can shut him down in a critical moment. The knockback also disrupts his positioning after a Shukuchi. On top of that, Keeper of the Light’s Illuminate is a constant threat to Weaver's low health pool. Getting hit by a full blast can force an early Time Lapse, taking his primary escape and reset tool off the table for the next engagement.

This dynamic means Weaver can’t simply run at the enemy team. He has to play more cautiously, either baiting out Blinding Light or waiting for his Black King Bar timing. A smart Weaver will try to flank and burst the Keeper of the Light before he can react. However, Keeper's general game plan of defending high ground and clearing waves also naturally slows down Weaver's attempts to split push and apply pressure. The tools feel very specific, and Keeper’s are a bit more direct for this fight.
