Kez vs Legion Commander

How this matchup plays

Picking a melee carry who excels in one-on-one fights often feels like a trap when Legion Commander is on the board. The whole point of Kez is to outplay an opponent with well-timed parries and slick stance swaps. Legion Commander's Duel simply turns all of that off. Once she lands her ultimate, Kez can't use any of his abilities or items to disengage or defend himself. He’s forced into a raw damage trade against a hero specifically built to win those exact fights, making his defensive kit feel completely useless.

This fundamental problem makes the entire game incredibly difficult for Kez. During the laning phase, he can get pushed around by Legion Commander's pressure and sustain. Later on, he becomes the primary target for a Blink Dagger and Duel combination. He can't farm aggressively or split the map because there's almost nothing he can do to survive getting caught alone. Kez is forced to stay with his team and hope for a save, while Legion Commander can play aggressively, hunting him to build up permanent damage and snowball her advantage.
