Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Kez wins the Kez vs Shadow Demon matchup: Kez beats Shadow Demon in 51.40% of 4,743 ranked matches.
Finding ways to slow down Kez's farm can be a problem. Shadow Demon's typical gank setup with Disruption and Demonic Purge is less reliable in this matchup because of Kez's defensive stance abilities. A well-timed parry can absorb the follow-up spell after a banish or negate the slow from Purge, leaving Shadow Demon exposed to a hero who is built to win one-on-one fights. This dynamic often allows Kez to secure the resources he needs. It's a contrast to when they are allies, where their conflicting tempos can make it difficult to coordinate spell usage and create pressure on the map.
