Kez vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Fighting inside a Tombstone is a losing proposition for Kez. His kit is built around outplaying a single opponent with parries and precise stance-swaps. Undying completely denies this game plan. The swarm of zombies makes it impossible to isolate a target, and they can’t be effectively countered by Kez's defensive tools. All the while, Decay spam saps his strength, leaving the agility hero too fragile to trade hits or survive a gank. Undying creates a crowded, chaotic battleground where a duelist has no room to operate.

Across the game, this dynamic forces Kez to play passively. He either has to waste his precious damage hitting the Tombstone, or try to navigate the fight while slowed and taking amplified damage from Flesh Golem, which rarely works out. Kez is often forced to wait for his team to deal with Undying's spells before he can even think about joining the fight, giving up crucial initiative. For Undying, the plan is simple: find Kez, drop Tombstone, and render the enemy carry useless.
