Setting up a pick-off with X Marks the Spot is Kunkka's main goal, but Snapfire has a direct answer. A well-timed Firesnap Cookie can force the marked target out of position, making Torrent and Ghostship miss completely. This turns Kunkka's signature combo into a waste of mana and cooldowns. Snapfire can also use Lil' Shredder to slow Kunkka's attack speed, making it harder for him to follow up with right-clicks after his spells land. She has the tools to consistently disrupt his ideal fight pattern.

Throughout the game, this dynamic creates a stalemate. Kunkka has to play around the threat of Firesnap Cookie, either by targeting Snapfire herself or by baiting it out before committing his boat. On the other side, Snapfire is often forced to play defensively, holding her abilities to save a core from a big combo rather than using them to start a fight. It becomes a game of chicken, where both heroes are waiting for the other to make a mistake, leading to a matchup that depends more on execution and timing than on any inherent hero advantage.
