Kunkka vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Clearing waves and jungle camps from a distance with Tidebringer gives Kunkka a huge gold and experience advantage. Tiny relies on getting close to unload his full burst combo, but he has a very difficult time closing the gap. Kunkka can use X Marks the Spot to control the fight distance, reset an initiation, or save himself after being caught. This fundamental control over spacing means Tiny is often stuck chasing a target he can't reach, taking damage from Torrent and cleaves the whole time.

This early farming lead allows Kunkka to dictate the pace of the game with his faster item timings. Tiny is forced into a reactive role, needing to find kills on Kunkka's teammates because the admiral himself is so slippery. In teamfights, Ghostship's damage reduction further weakens the impact of Tiny’s initiation. For Tiny to have a good game, his team needs to find a way to lock Kunkka down before he can use his spells, which is much easier said than done.
