How this matchup plays

Drafting a hero into a Legion Commander always means asking how they will survive Duel. Legion Commander’s game plan revolves around finding a target, locking them down with her ultimate, and winning the forced fight to gain permanent damage. Any hero who can’t handle that one-on-one isolation, or whose team can't react instantly, becomes a reliable source of income for her. Largo frequently becomes this primary target, feeding Legion Commander’s mid-game power spike and letting her take over the map.

This forces Largo and his team to play on the back foot for most of the game. The Legion Commander will actively hunt him, especially after she gets a Blink Dagger, using smoke and vision to find him away from his team. To compensate, Largo’s allies must stay close, providing vision and being ready to save him or turn the fight the moment Duel is used. If that protection slips, Legion Commander can build an insurmountable lead by repeatedly killing Largo, making her too strong for the rest of his team to deal with.
