How this matchup plays

A duel between these two often comes down to who gets the jump. Both heroes can output a lot of damage in a short window, but neither is very durable. Shadow Fiend needs to land his Shadowrazes or a close-range Requiem of Souls to secure a kill. Largo, in turn, has his own lethal spell sequence to execute. Because both are fragile, the fight is usually over in seconds. The hero who initiates from a better position or lands their abilities more cleanly will typically win, making it feel like a coin flip every time they try to fight each other.

This dynamic extends across the whole game. The laning phase can be a tense farm-fest, with both heroes looking for a mistake to punish. In teamfights, both Largo and Shadow Fiend become high-priority targets that the enemy team wants to burst down immediately.
