Legion Commander vs Lina

How this matchup plays

Trying to survive a Duel is tough for Lina. She’s a fragile hero with no escape ability, making her a perfect target for Legion Commander's ultimate. While Lina can try to stun with Light Strike Array, the cast delay often isn't fast enough, and Legion Commander's Press the Attack can remove the stun anyway. A quick Blade Mail on Legion Commander means Lina often kills herself if she tries to unload her spells during Duel. The very thing that makes them work well together—Lina's high burst damage—becomes a liability when they face each other.

Once Legion Commander gets Blink Dagger, Lina's game becomes incredibly difficult. She can't safely farm side lanes or even jungle camps without her team nearby, which slows down her item progression and limits her impact. The Legion player's game plan becomes simple: find Lina, Duel her, and snowball from the damage victories. Lina's team has to respond with constant vision control and be ready to counter-initiate the moment Legion jumps in, otherwise their core will keep feeding away permanent damage.
