Legion Commander vs Lone Druid

How this matchup plays

Dueling Lone Druid is a gamble for Legion Commander. Catching him in his squishier ranged form can lead to an easy Duel victory, but it's a trap if he can transform into his tanky True Form. This turns him into a monster that can survive the duration and kill her with the help of his Spirit Bear, which is free to attack from outside the Duel. Dueling the bear is also an option, but it's often a waste of a cooldown that gives Lone Druid's hero free reign. The outcome depends entirely on cooldowns and who gets the jump.

This leads to a cat-and-mouse game across the map. Legion Commander wants to stalk the map and find Lone Druid farming alone, separated from his bear, or when his ultimate is down. A successful gank can stop his momentum entirely. In response, Lone Druid has to play more cautiously, using his bear to scout dangerous areas or grouping with his team to push objectives. He wants to force Legion to react to his tower pressure, denying her the space she needs to find clean pickoffs and build up her damage.
