Legion Commander vs Meepo

How this matchup plays

Catching a single Meepo clone with Duel is a reliable way for Legion Commander to build up bonus damage. Meepo's entire game plan revolves around overwhelming opponents with multiple bodies, but Duel isolates one clone completely, turning that strength into a farmable resource. Overwhelming Odds also gets a damage boost from all the extra units, punishing Meepo for grouping up. This interaction puts the Meepo player in a difficult spot, as splitting up risks feeding Duels while grouping makes Legion's other spells more potent.

Legion Commander's goal becomes getting a Blink Dagger and hunting for any Meepo clone left out of position. A successful Duel on a clone can be a low-risk way to scale for later fights. In response, Meepo has to play cautiously, keeping his clones together and ready to burst Legion with Poof and Earthbind before she can initiate. The game often comes down to positioning and vision control. Meepo can still dominate with his farm if he avoids getting picked off, but Legion Commander has a very direct and effective strategy against him.
