Legion Commander vs Primal Beast

How this matchup plays

Trying to lock down a core with Pulverize often backfires against this lineup. Legion Commander can instantly free an ally from Primal Beast's ultimate using the strong dispel from Press the Attack. This interaction flips a huge teamfight spell on its head, leaving Primal Beast stuck channeling on a target who is suddenly free to fight back. The constant threat of this reversal forces the Primal Beast player to be extremely careful about who they target, often limiting their most powerful tool and tilting control of a fight toward Legion Commander's team.

This advantage isn't absolute. Press the Attack has a cooldown, and a smart Primal Beast will play around that timing or try to initiate on Legion Commander herself, since she can't cast it while disabled. Primal Beast is also naturally very durable and builds items that make him a risky Duel target. The game becomes about which hero can bait out the other's key defensive spell first. Primal Beast wants to catch someone when Press the Attack is down, while Legion Commander wants to force a fight where her save is ready.
