Legion Commander vs Visage

How this matchup plays

Catching Visage can be tricky with his Familiars and defensive layers, but Legion Commander has the perfect tool for it. Duel locks Visage in place, forcing a one-on-one fight where his summons can’t body-block or save him. This bypasses the normal difficulty of pinning him down. For his part, Visage can make that Duel very difficult for Legion Commander to win. Grave Chill cuts her attack speed significantly, and the Familiars still deal heavy damage from the sidelines. A Visage with an intact Gravekeeper's Cloak can also survive the initial burst from LC's allies.

The matchup often comes down to timing and support. Legion Commander will generally need a damage item or a key ally to secure a Duel win, especially if Visage has his own backup. A successful Duel on Visage can completely halt his team’s push and open up the map. On the other hand, if Visage and his team catch Legion Commander out of position, she can be slowed and burst down by the Familiars before she even has a chance to initiate. It really depends on who gets the jump on whom and with how much help.
