Leshrac vs Slark

How this matchup plays

Trying to find a pick on the edge of a fight is difficult for Slark when Leshrac is around. The constant area damage from Pulse Nova and Diabolic Edict makes it hard for Slark to linger and regenerate with Shadow Dance's passive. Any attempt to sit on the sidelines and recover is punished by a steady stream of damage. While Leshrac’s Split Earth can provide lockdown, a well-timed Dark Pact can purge the stun, so landing the full combo is never guaranteed. This pressure isn't about killing him instantly but about wearing him down and denying his ability to recover.

The matchup often comes down to timing and itemization. Leshrac wants to group up early and pressure objectives, forcing fights before Slark has his key items online. In response, Slark needs to find safe farm and avoid Leshrac until he can complete an item like a Black King Bar to negate the magical pressure. A Leshrac can also build a Ghost Scepter to completely survive Slark's physical burst from a Pounce combo. Because Leshrac’s natural game plan puts Slark on the defensive, he holds a small advantage.
