How this matchup plays

Trying to get in position as Weaver is uncomfortable when Leshrac is nearby. Even while invisible in Shukuchi, Weaver still takes damage from the constant pulses of Diabolic Edict and Pulse Nova, making it hard to find a good opening. This forces him to either commit and risk melting or stay far away. In return, Leshrac has a difficult time landing his Split Earth stun on such a fast-moving target. He can zone Weaver out and make him low, but actually finishing the kill is often another matter entirely.

The duel gets decided by key abilities and items. Weaver’s Time Lapse is a powerful tool for erasing the sustained damage he takes, allowing him to bait out Leshrac’s spells and then reset. Because of this, Leshrac usually relies on teammates with instant lockdown to hold Weaver in place. Weaver, on the other hand, often has to build defensively to survive the magical output before he can deal his physical damage. The matchup is a constant back-and-forth, with the advantage shifting based on cooldowns and who gets the jump.
