Lina vs Meepo

How this matchup plays

Picking into a Meepo often means you need either a lot of area damage or extreme single-target burst. Lina brings the burst, capable of deleting one Meepo clone from a fight with Light Strike Array and Laguna Blade. This can slow Meepo's farm and make teamfights awkward for him. The trade-off is that Lina herself is very fragile and has no escape. If her initial spell combo doesn't secure a kill, or if Meepo gets the jump on her first, she can be easily chain-netted and overwhelmed by Poof damage from the other clones. It’s a classic glass cannon standoff.

The game often becomes a race between key item timings. Lina can have a strong laning stage with her range and spell harass, potentially delaying Meepo's power spike. Once Meepo gets his core items and levels, he actively hunts a solo Lina across the map. Lina's survival then depends entirely on good positioning, vision, and her team's support. If she can survive the mid-game and acquire items that help her kite or disable, like a Eul's Scepter, she can turn the tables again by surviving Meepo's initiation and deleting a clone in return.
