How this matchup plays

Trying to land Light Strike Array on Mirana can be frustrating. Her Leap provides a very reliable way to sidestep the stun, which is the setup for all of Lina's burst damage. Without that initial stun, it's much harder for Lina to connect her Dragon Slave and Laguna Blade for a quick kill. On the other hand, Lina is a relatively fragile hero with no innate escape, making her a good target for a well-aimed Sacred Arrow. This fundamental interaction gives Mirana a small advantage in skirmishes, as she has an easier time both dodging spells and landing her own initiation.

This dynamic means Mirana often gets to dictate the terms of engagement. She can farm more aggressively, knowing she has a built-in escape from a potential gank by Lina. To counter this, Lina players often need to prioritize items like a Eul's Scepter or Blink Dagger to guarantee their stun lands. Until she gets those items, Lina has to play more defensively. Mirana uses that window to apply pressure elsewhere on the map, looking for pickoffs with her arrow, while Lina is forced to react rather than initiate.
