Lina vs Naga Siren

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a target is frustrating when it splits into multiple copies. Lina relies on landing her spell combo to secure kills, but Naga Siren's Mirror Image presents too many targets. If Lina uses Light Strike Array and Laguna Blade on an illusion, her entire damage potential is wasted, leaving her vulnerable. The real Naga Siren and her remaining illusions can then close the distance and overwhelm her. This forces Lina to hesitate or guess, giving Naga a distinct advantage in one-on-one encounters once her core abilities are online.

Early in the lane, Lina can often use her range and nukes to control the pace before Naga has many points in her illusions. The matchup becomes more difficult for her as the game progresses. To be effective, Lina needs her team to provide lockdown or a way to identify the real Naga Siren first. Without that kind of setup, she's often relegated to using her spells on other, less important heroes, while the enemy carry farms and pushes lanes freely, slowly building a lead.
