Lina vs Pangolier

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other is a genuine gamble. Lina has all the magic burst needed to instantly delete Pangolier if he’s caught. Landing a single Light Strike Array can be a death sentence, as she can unload her entire combo before he has a chance to escape. The problem is that Pangolier is one of the most difficult heroes to pin down. Using Swashbuckle, he can easily dodge the stun, and Shield Crash helps him absorb some of the damage even if he does get hit. It becomes a duel of reaction time.

Throughout the game, this dynamic creates a tense cat-and-mouse scenario. Pangolier wants to initiate fights with Rolling Thunder, ideally catching Lina in the chaos so she can't get her spells off on a key target. He completely disrupts her game plan. In return, Lina's entire goal is to find Pangolier before he can start rolling and burst him down. Fights often swing based on which of these two heroes gets their big spell off first. The matchup rewards proactive plays and heavily punishes the slightest positioning mistake from either side.
