How this matchup plays

Interrupting Primal Beast's Onslaught is the whole game for Lina. She has the perfect tool in Light Strike Array to stop his charge or cancel his Pulverize ultimate from a safe distance. The stun's delay, however, makes it a skill test. If the stun lands, Primal Beast's initiation is completely nullified. If it misses, or he's able to bait it out first, Lina is a very easy kill with no natural escape. This standoff makes their direct interactions feel tense and unpredictable.

This dynamic forces both heroes to play carefully around vision and positioning. Primal Beast is always looking for a flank or an angle to close the gap before Lina can react, while Lina has to play far back and trust her team to provide some space. Because her burst damage is high, she can threaten him if he's kited, but he's also durable enough to survive it if he gets the jump. The fight usually goes to whoever executes their plan first, leaving very little natural advantage for either side.
