Laning against each other often feels like a resource trade with no clear winner. Lina can control the wave with Dragon Slave, but Snapfire’s natural bulk and Scatterblast damage make it hard for Lina to force her out. Snapfire can return the pressure, but she needs an ally to convert a Firesnap Cookie stun into a kill. Neither hero has the lockdown to reliably secure a solo kill on the other without a major positioning error. It becomes a battle of attrition, waiting for a rotation or a mistake.

This balance of threats continues into teamfights. Lina seeks to delete a target with Laguna Blade, but a well-timed Cookie from Snapfire can save an ally and leave Lina exposed. Conversely, Snapfire’s Mortimer Kisses can effectively zone Lina out, preventing her from contributing damage. The two heroes often struggle to coordinate when on the same team, and that same lack of easy synergy defines their opposition. The fight is typically decided by which hero gets better initiation from their teammates, not by a direct confrontation between the two.
