Trying to burst down Ursa often feels like a gamble. Lina has all the tools on paper to nuke a hero from full to zero, and a well-timed Light Strike Array can stop Ursa's charge cold. The problem is that Ursa's entire goal is to survive the initial burst and get on top of his target. If he closes the gap while his Overpower is active, Lina's low health pool means she dies in seconds. The fight often hinges on whether Ursa has Enrage available to absorb the Laguna Blade, turning Lina's ultimate into a wasted cooldown.

This dynamic means the matchup is decided by positioning and vision. An Ursa with a Blink Dagger can initiate from fog and give Lina no time to react, securing an easy kill. In response, Lina needs to play from the back lines, relying on her team for protection and buying items like a Force Staff to create space. Neither hero wants to be the one reacting to the other's initiation.
