How this matchup plays

Teamfights often hinge on whether Lina can find and eliminate a key target before Warlock can react. Lina relies on landing her stun and unleashing a massive burst of single-target magic damage to instantly remove a hero from the fight. Warlock works differently, aiming to connect multiple heroes with Fatal Bonds and disrupt engages with Chaotic Offering. This makes him a prime target for Lina, but if she fails to kill him quickly, his spells can completely turn the tide by spreading her damage across his entire team and stunning her in return.

The result is a delicate dance of positioning. Lina wants to play from the edges of the fight, looking for an opening to burst down Warlock or another vulnerable hero. Warlock, in turn, has to position himself safely, often behind his cores, waiting for the perfect moment to drop his ultimate and punish a committed enemy team. Neither hero has a clear upper hand, as the outcome is decided by which one can better execute their game plan.
