Lina vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a Weaver often feels like a gamble. Lina has more than enough magic damage to kill him from full health with her stun and Laguna Blade, especially before he gets defensive items. The problem is that Weaver's entire kit is designed to survive that kind of single-target deletion. Shukuchi makes him a nightmare to pin down for the initial Light Strike Array, and even if Lina lands her full combo, a quick Time Lapse can undo all of it. The fight frequently comes down to a split-second reaction from the Weaver player.

Throughout the game, this dynamic creates a tense standoff. Lina will try to play around vision, waiting for Weaver to show himself so she can initiate her combo from the fog. A Eul's Scepter or an allied setup can make her job much easier. Weaver, on the other hand, needs to be extremely careful about his positioning. He'll often wait for Lina to use her spells on someone else before committing to a fight, or he’ll build items like a Linken's Sphere to block her lockdown. It's a duel of cooldowns and reflexes where either hero can win.
