How this matchup plays

Landing a perfect Sacred Arrow often feels less rewarding against Lone Druid than other heroes. The Spirit Bear creates a constant dilemma for Mirana. Hitting the bear with your stun means the real hero is free to keep up the pressure, while ignoring the bear to focus the hero is a great way to get run down and killed by an angry pet. Lone Druid effectively splits your focus and damage, making it hard for Mirana to secure a clean kill on her own. He doesn't have a great way to lock her down either, as Leap provides a reliable escape, but he complicates her preferred fighting style.

The matchup often comes down to tempo and team support. Mirana excels when her team can roam with her under Moonlight Shadow to find pickoffs on the real Lone Druid, separating him from the safety of his bear or his team. Lone Druid, in turn, wins by forcing the issue on objectives. He can send the bear to relentlessly push a tower, forcing a response from a Mirana who can neither kill the bear quickly nor ignore the pressure. Whichever hero can better execute their game plan with their team's help will usually come out ahead.
