Lone Druid vs Pangolier

How this matchup plays

Getting caught by a Spirit Bear's Entangling Claws is often a death sentence for Pangolier. His entire kit is built around mobility, and that root from Lone Druid's bear completely shuts down both Swashbuckle and Rolling Thunder. He can't dash, he can't roll, and he's left stranded to be hit by two units at once. Even if he gets his ultimate off, Savage Roar can still interrupt the channel or force him into a bad spot, making it difficult for him to escape or initiate effectively.

This dynamic forces the Pangolier to be extremely careful. He has to constantly track the bear and its root cooldown before committing to a fight. His main goal becomes playing around the edges of a fight, baiting out the root or waiting for it to be used on an ally. If he can manage this, the disarms from Lucky Shot can still be very disruptive to Lone Druid's damage output. But the constant threat of being locked in place by a single ability gives Lone Druid a persistent, if small, advantage in any engagement.
