Lone Druid vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Dealing with the Spirit Bear is a constant puzzle for Snapfire. She has the tools to make its life difficult; Lil' Shredder's attack speed slow can neuter the bear's damage output in a fight, and Firesnap Cookie is a flexible way to create space or land a stun. This allows her to kite and reposition against the otherwise relentless pressure from Lone Druid. The problem is that Snapfire has no real escape. If the bear gets on top of her and lands an Entangling Claws, she is completely stuck. The matchup is a constant battle between Snapfire’s kiting abilities and the bear’s raw lockdown potential.

This dynamic often results in a standoff during the mid-game. Lone Druid wants to group up and hit buildings, but Snapfire is excellent at defending high ground. Mortimer Kisses can clear creep waves and zone the Druid and his bear from a safe distance, slowing down any siege attempt. Fights are decided by positioning. If Lone Druid can get a good flank and have his bear jump on Snapfire, she’ll fall quickly. If Snapfire can keep her distance and weaken the bear before it ever connects, her team can clean up the fight.
