Applying single-target pressure as Viper becomes complicated against Lone Druid's two units. Focusing the main hero leaves Viper vulnerable to the Spirit Bear's attacks and potential root. Alternatively, using key spells like Viper Strike on the durable bear often feels inefficient, as the Druid hero is free to attack from a distance. This split focus dilutes Viper's main strength, forcing him to choose between two bad options instead of shutting down one priority target as he normally would.

The laning phase can be fairly even, as Viper can still harass the Lone Druid hero effectively. The slight advantage tends to appear later.
