Lone Druid vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Weaving through fights with Shukuchi is Weaver's whole game plan, but it runs into a wall against Lone Druid. The Spirit Bear’s Entangling Claws is a nightmare for him; getting rooted means he’s stuck in place while two heroes attack him. Shukuchi gives speed but doesn't break the root, so there is no escape. Even if Weaver manages to get close to the main hero, a well-timed Savage Roar can send him running, completely disrupting his attack pattern and often forcing out an early Time Lapse.

This dynamic allows Lone Druid to dictate the pace of the game by constantly pushing towers. Weaver is terrible at defending against the Spirit Bear, as he lacks wave clear and can't fight it directly. This forces a bad choice: either give up map control for free or take a risky teamfight where getting rooted by the bear means death. Weaver has to rely on his team to solve the bear problem while he tries to find kills elsewhere on the map, which is a much harder strategy to execute.
