Marci vs Wraith King

How this matchup plays

Committing your biggest spells to a kill that doesn't stick is a disaster. Marci's whole game plan revolves around jumping a target and bursting them down with Unleash, but Wraith King's Reincarnation completely invalidates that approach. She unloads her entire combo, often leaving herself exposed, only for him to stand right back up. While he revives, his team is free to collapse on the now-vulnerable Marci who has no major cooldowns left. It's a fundamental mismatch of kits; her temporary burst cannot overcome his second life.

This dynamic defines how teamfights play out. A smart Wraith King will confidently walk in front, knowing he can absorb everything Marci has and survive. This forces Marci into a terrible choice: waste her ultimate on him, or try to navigate around him to find a squishier target, which he is built to prevent. Her only real play is to use Dispose to throw him away from her allies, but that rarely solves the larger problem. She simply cannot initiate a fight the way she wants to when he is on the map.
