Marci vs Slark

How this matchup plays

Trying to pin Slark down can be frustrating. Marci's entire initiation combo of Dispose and Rebound relies on stunning a target long enough for her or an ally to unload damage. Slark can often time a Dark Pact to purge that stun right away, letting him either Pounce to safety or turn and fight. This forces Marci to commit her ultimate, Unleash, on a target that isn't properly locked down and can easily slip away. Slark's ability to consistently break her lockdown undermines her core burst potential.

This dynamic means Slark doesn't really fear Marci's ganks in the mid-game. While a well-coordinated team can still burst him, he can often farm more aggressively knowing he has a reliable escape from her main combo. For Marci to succeed, she needs to either bait out the Dark Pact first or focus on a different target entirely, which can complicate teamfights. Slark simply has a natural tool to defuse her primary threat, giving him a small but consistent edge in skirmishes around the map.
