How this matchup plays

Controlling the pace of the game against Tiny often hinges on whether you can outlast his initial burst, and Marci is well-equipped for this. Her mobility from Rebound gives her a way to dodge the Avalanche-Toss combo or to close the gap after he’s used his spells. Once Tiny has committed his main burst, he becomes a large, slow target for Marci's sustained physical damage from Unleash. She can stick to him and trade effectively, especially since he has few ways to escape once she’s on top of him. Dispose also gives her a tool to interrupt his combo or peel for an ally he targets.

In mid-game teamfights, Tiny will typically look for a Blink Dagger initiation to eliminate a priority hero. Marci’s job is to either survive this opening attack or use Rebound to counter-initiate on the back line. A Black King Bar is a key item for Marci, as it allows her to freely attack during Unleash without being disabled by Avalanche. If Tiny's team lacks the follow-up control to peel her off, she can frequently turn the fight after his main spells are on cooldown, wearing him down while he can't fight back effectively.
