Mirana vs Outworld Destroyer

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a key spell on either of these heroes feels uncertain. Outworld Destroyer can use Astral Imprisonment to completely negate a long-range Sacred Arrow, saving himself or a teammate from what would otherwise be a guaranteed kill. This forces Mirana to play for shorter, less predictable stuns. On the other side, Mirana’s mobility from Leap makes her a very difficult target for Sanity’s Eclipse. She can often reposition at the last second to avoid the damage or break a bad engagement, preventing OD from landing his biggest teamfight contribution. The whole interaction becomes a game of chicken over who uses their defensive tool first.

The lane phase usually favors Outworld Destroyer, whose Arcane Orb harass can make it hard for Mirana to farm safely. As the game progresses, however, Mirana can find her impact by roaming for pickoffs and applying pressure across the map. The matchup then hinges on who sets the tempo. If Mirana is landing arrows from fog and creating chaos, her team gets ahead. If the game slows down into a five-on-five brawl, OD can stand his ground and wear down the enemy team. It's a true test of which hero's preferred game plan gets executed better.
