Mirana vs Clockwerk

How this matchup plays

Catching a target with Hookshot is Clockwerk's main plan, but Mirana is designed to be difficult to pin down. The whole interaction comes down to her Leap. If Clockwerk can initiate on Mirana while her escape is on cooldown, she’s an easy kill inside Power Cogs. However, if she has Leap available, she can often escape the trap before taking serious damage, leaving Clockwerk out of position and vulnerable. This makes every attempt to catch her a serious commitment, as a failed gank can easily turn against his team.

This core dynamic defines their interactions all game. A smart Clockwerk will often ignore Mirana and focus on her less mobile teammates, or wait patiently for her to use Leap aggressively before he commits. On the other side, Mirana can use Moonlight Shadow to help her team avoid Clockwerk’s initiations altogether, forcing him to play reactively. Ultimately, the fight between these two heroes depends on which player better baits out the other's key cooldowns, making it a very fair contest where either side has a chance to win the engagement.
