Mirana vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Picking a mobile, slippery hero like Mirana into Undying forces a change in game plan. Undying excels at creating chaotic, drawn-out brawls where his spells get maximum value. Tombstone is especially difficult for Mirana, as the zombies will swarm her if she Leaps in, slowing her and making a clean escape unlikely. Her low health pool also makes her very vulnerable to Decay, which can quickly drain her Strength and make her too fragile to contribute in a fight. His spells punish exactly the kind of dive-in, burst-out style that Mirana often prefers.

Across the game, Mirana has to respect the threat Undying poses. She can’t simply look for a pickoff on a support if it means fighting near him and his potential Tombstone. Her best approach is to leverage Moonlight Shadow to find isolated targets far away from Undying's protection or to wait for his key spells to be used before committing to a teamfight. This matchup isn't about Mirana being unable to function; it's that Undying's presence forces her to play much more cautiously and opportunistically than she might want to.
