Mirana vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Pinning down an elusive hero is the core of this matchup. Vengeful Spirit has a direct, reliable stun with Magic Missile that's perfect for catching Mirana mid-Leap or canceling a key spell. While Mirana needs to land a tricky Sacred Arrow to lock someone down, Venge can do it instantly from a distance. Nether Swap is the bigger problem, as it completely negates Mirana's preferred positioning. A Mirana trying to contribute from the back lines can suddenly find herself in the enemy's arms, with her primary escape tool, Leap, already used or on cooldown.

Across the game, this forces Mirana to play with much more respect. She can't simply rely on her mobility to stay safe when a Vengeful Spirit is on the other team. Teamfights become a tense waiting game; Mirana wants to find an angle for an Arrow, while Venge waits for Mirana to show herself for a Swap or stun. While Moonlight Shadow can help Mirana's team get the jump, a well-positioned Venge can turn that initiation around. Mirana needs her own team to be ready to punish a Venge that swaps aggressively, shifting the pressure back onto Vengeful Spirit's team.
