Mirana vs Viper

How this matchup plays

Escaping the constant slow from Poison Attack is a much simpler task for Mirana than for many other heroes. Her ability to Leap away creates instant distance, preventing Viper from sticking to her and applying his full damage over time. Even if caught by Viper Strike, a quick Leap can often be enough to get to safety under a tower or back to her teammates. This forces Viper to either commit multiple resources to lock her down or, more likely, switch his focus to a target who can’t disengage as easily, leaving Mirana free to contribute from the outside of the fight.

This dynamic means Mirana isn't forced into a direct confrontation. Instead of trying to burst through Corrosive Skin, she can play around the map, using Sacred Arrow from fog to catch Viper or his allies out of position. Viper is a slow hero with no escape, making him a prime target for a long-range stun. While Viper can still be a major threat if he manages to get on top of Mirana and place Nethertoxin, her mobility gives her the advantage in choosing when and where engagements happen, which is often enough to tilt the game in her favor.
