Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Nyx Assassin wins the Muerta vs Nyx Assassin matchup: Nyx Assassin beats Muerta in 56.60% of 8,747 ranked matches.
Thinking Muerta can win a duel with Pierce the Veil is a common mistake. Nyx Assassin has the perfect answer in Spiked Carapace. When Muerta uses her ultimate, all her damage becomes magical. If she attacks Nyx while his Carapace is active, she will stun herself and take a huge burst of her own damage back. This can happen instantly from a Gunslinger proc, completely disabling her. Beyond that specific counter, Nyx makes her life miserable. Mana Burn depletes her resources before fights, and Vendetta lets him hunt a fragile Muerta all over the map. She has no natural escape and can't survive his initiation.
