Muerta vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Getting your damage off as Muerta is a nightmare when Snapfire is on the other team. The constant threat of Mortimer Kisses forces Muerta to reposition during Pierce the Veil, which wastes most of its duration. The slow from the blobs makes her an easy target to kite even when she's trying to attack. Firesnap Cookie is also a huge problem; it can save an ally that Muerta has committed on, or it can launch an initiator directly on top of her. Given how fragile Muerta is, getting jumped like that is often a death sentence, especially before she has defensive items.

The result is that Muerta constantly feels on the back foot and struggles to build a gold lead, delaying her key timings. In teamfights, she has to play perfectly. If Muerta activates her ultimate, Snapfire can drop Mortimer Kisses on her location and completely nullify the threat. For Muerta to have an impact, her team needs to get on top of Snapfire and disable her before the fight really begins. Otherwise, Snapfire's ability to reposition allies and control Muerta's positioning gives her team a clear upper hand in any engagement.
