Naga Siren vs Pudge

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other creates a constant tug-of-war. For Pudge, landing a Meat Hook on the real Naga Siren is a massive threat, often leading to a kill with Dismember. His Rot is also effective at wearing down her Mirror Images in a fight. The problem is that those same illusions are perfect for blocking hooks, making it a gamble to find the real hero. Furthermore, a well-timed Song of the Siren from Naga can completely nullify Pudge's initiation by resetting the fight after he hooks a key target, wasting his biggest cooldown.

The matchup often hinges on which hero can control the tempo. Early on, Pudge can roam and try to catch Naga Siren before she has the items to survive a gank. As the game progresses, Naga can use her illusions to safely split-push and scout, forcing Pudge to guess where she is. Pudge will need to find ways to clear the illusions quickly to get to the real prize, while the Naga player has to position carefully and use Song to disengage from bad situations. It's a test of patience and execution from both sides.
