Naga Siren vs Techies

How this matchup plays

Sending illusions to farm jungle camps or push lanes is the core of Naga Siren's game, and Techies shuts it down completely. His Proximity Mines will instantly vaporize any group of images that wander into them, denying Naga farm and the ability to scout. She can't apply her usual map-wide pressure when entire sections of the jungle and lanes are lethal traps for her copies. While Song of the Siren is a great setup for Techies when they are allies, his area denial tools are a direct counter to Naga's entire game plan when they are opponents.

This dynamic forces Naga Siren into a much slower and more dangerous game. Instead of farming multiple places at once, she is restricted to wherever her team can secure vision. Techies effectively walls her off from huge portions of her own territory, crippling her ability to get the items she needs. Her team has to spend significant effort clearing mines to create any space for her, giving Techies' team the initiative across the map. Naga is forced to play from behind, unable to execute her split-pushing strategy.
